Google has recently commemorated Jackson Pollock and his so called weird art with a Google Doodle on his birthday. Using the technique of ‘dripping paint’ he makes all sorts of paintings and designs. Here’s the google doodle:

It is nice to meet another Agrim. It is such a rare name. In fact, I haven’t come face to face with another guy by this name ever! I studied earlier at Apeejay Saket too. Pretty close to your school!
And its nice to read your blog. Even I have interest in music. Its Hindustani Classical Music which works for me though. Nonetheless, I am also fairly interested in Western Classical symphonies.

sorry yaar….haven’t been coming online. right now am in school so that’s why i came online.
we were the runners up company ….. so that’s nothing to hide.
pre board result is something i want to …..
w/o ssc: 91-92…..with ssc………..4gt it.
w/o ssc + it: 95-96
so its all down to ssc….n dont u leak the secret thing….i messed up preboard 2 as well …atleast for pol sc. lost abt 4 marks in history…bcuz i got that first world war thing wrong…….saurav was right. it WAS the influeza, n forced conscription thing.lost abt 10-15 in pol sc…….butnow course completed for pol sc.!!!!!!

Hey!! thnk God u answered!!!!!……..congratzz 4 the expected result!!…..its gr8 2 know uve managed 2 complete ur syllabus!!!!….dont blame 4 ur histry ke 4 marks coz i told u i wasnt sure….n as far as padai goes- just dont ask coz i was scolded by priti maam 4 not givin the preboard!!!….i hadnt studied n by the way Im NOT a nerd or a bookworm coz i dont work hard or study 4 hours together. but 4 the tips u can actually ask my frnd Sandy who i herd managed 2 do Lifelines wala chapter after games pd or i guess when there was a supposed action movie being screened in her class n Shreyans was also a partner in the crime!!!(all were playing…n shoutn..)
1 problem is common that we dont feel like studyn!!…I was surprised when negi told me that he was givn preboard 2 coz 2 days pehle he had just managed 2 about 4-5 chapters!!

Yeah, it was also quite good. Only thing is that I went a little overboard and gave as many examples to explain as much as I could (example for table, for REQUIRED, for field size property, etc). Hence, it took more time to finish (about 1.5 hours).
It really comes down to the examiner, in the end. Some are liberal and lenient, others are stingy as anything.
You can do SST. Just believe in it.

Okay, that wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. Hoping anywhere from 65-75 for SST.
The whole CBSE system is pathetic. There is no joy to get from learning in this one. Quiz, debate and the rest: those are fun. CBSE is no fun at all.

@Arjun: My SSc exam was OMG! Its So WONDERFUL! Set 1 was straight out of the book! hope u n i get nice marks…i CAN afford to expect 75+/80 atleast……;)
@Anshul: Vella guy, why don’t you go n study….o yeah, you’ve got 10 days for maths……:D

Set 3 was not nearly as easy. At least 5 or 6 questions (mainly the four markers) were definately HOTS level questions. And they all came from sections I wasn’t so strong in. But I still weathered it. They said give examples, so I gave about 2 points for each that were explanations and the other points were examples. Just doing what Sumedh sir said!
What’s making me mad is that darn crop question. I forgot the image and I consequently am losing about 2-3 marks for that (completely avoidable). I hope the examiner is a bit liberal with me. Then, I can expect a +90. Otherwise, +80

you’ll lose ALL 4 for the crop question since priti maam says if the crop identified is wrong, the rest of the answers are not considered …….. considering the conditions and the states for the crop were more or less the same…….:D

Still, apart from that, things went okay. Pol Science and History were perfectly fine. And Eco was not bad either. Geography was okay apart from that ‘big’ slip-up (maps were a piece of cake).
You and I ought to do something about the CBSE board. It’s not a fair assessment of intelligence and it’s hyped so much that it’s giving everyone a hard time. Maybe we could start doing things like writing letters to newspapers, making surveys and things like that. We’ve gotta change this country for the better, right?
